This Manager role in Procurement focuses on driving cost optimization, strategic sourcing, and category management. You will be instrumental in delivering significant cost savings, enhancing procurement performance, and championing sourcing excellence, while also supporting broader transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses robust analytical, commercial, and stakeholder management capabilities, with a proven track record in identifying savings opportunities and contributing to category strategies that deliver tangible value across procurement functions.

Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive spend analysis to pinpoint savings opportunities across various procurement categories. You will support cost reduction efforts through strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, demand management, specification optimization, and negotiation programs. Developing robust savings tracking mechanisms, value capture plans, and benefits realization frameworks is crucial. The role also involves supporting cost governance activities, including savings validation, initiative tracking, risk monitoring, and progress reporting. You will prepare opportunity assessments, cost reduction business cases, and prioritization recommendations for procurement leadership.

The ideal candidate will possess 7-10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, category management, cost optimization, or procurement consulting. Strong expertise in category management, particularly within indirect spend, with exposure to direct spend categories being an advantage, is essential. Demonstrated experience in delivering procurement savings, strategic sourcing, cost take-out, supplier consolidation, or commercial improvement initiatives is required. Excellent analytical and commercial skills are necessary to translate spend data and stakeholder insights into actionable savings opportunities. Familiarity with procurement processes, Source-to-Pay operations, sourcing methodologies, supplier management, and procurement governance is expected. Exposure to procurement analytics tools like SAP Ariba or Coupa is beneficial. Strong abilities in managing workplans, coordinating stakeholders, and producing structured deliverables within consulting or transformation settings are a must, alongside exceptional communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
