The Manager will spearhead procurement cost optimization, strategic sourcing, category management, and procurement transformation initiatives. The core of this position is to achieve measurable savings, elevate procurement performance, drive sourcing excellence, and contribute to broader transformation programs. Ideal candidates will possess strong analytical, commercial, and stakeholder management capabilities, with a proven track record in identifying savings opportunities, developing category strategies, and delivering value across procurement functions.
Drive cost optimization by conducting spend analysis and identifying savings opportunities across various procurement categories. Support cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, demand management, specification optimization, and negotiation programs. Develop robust savings tracking mechanisms, value capture plans, and benefits realization frameworks.
Develop effective category strategies for both indirect and direct spend categories, emphasizing commercial value, supplier performance, and business alignment. Execute sourcing events, supplier evaluations, commercial assessments, bid analysis, and negotiation support activities. Analyze supply markets, internal demand patterns, supplier landscapes, and pricing trends to uncover category-specific improvement opportunities.
Utilize procurement analytics, spend reporting, and savings dashboards to enable fact-based decision-making. Analyze baseline spend, supplier fragmentation, contract coverage, purchase price variance, and compliance gaps to pinpoint value creation opportunities. Support the creation of savings pipelines, initiative trackers, performance reports, and executive procurement updates.
Contribute to procurement operating model enhancements, including process redesign, governance improvements, and sourcing excellence programs. Assist in the implementation of Source-to-Pay transformation and process improvement initiatives. Support the development of business cases, transformation roadmaps, implementation plans, and workstream deliverables.
Support supplier performance improvement initiatives, including performance review preparation, root-cause analysis, and corrective action tracking. Identify opportunities to enhance supplier value, service levels, risk reduction, and commercial outcomes. Partner with stakeholders to drive supplier rationalization, contract compliance, and improved procurement controls.
Coordinate effectively with stakeholders across business, procurement, finance, operations, and category teams. Manage workplans, project deliverables, risks, dependencies, status updates, and action trackers. Prepare clear and structured deliverables, including analysis outputs, category documents, business cases, trackers, and presentation materials.
A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, category management, cost optimization, or procurement consulting is required. Strong expertise in category management for indirect spend categories is essential, with exposure to direct spend categories being a valuable asset. Proven experience in delivering procurement savings, strategic sourcing, cost take-out, supplier consolidation, or commercial improvement initiatives is expected.
Candidates should possess robust analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to transform spend data and stakeholder input into actionable savings opportunities. A solid understanding of procurement processes, Source-to-Pay operations, sourcing methodologies, supplier management, and procurement governance is necessary. Familiarity with tools such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, spend analytics, procurement reporting, and savings tracking solutions is advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to manage workplans, coordinate diverse stakeholders, and deliver structured outputs within consulting or transformation environments is crucial. Excellent communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and documentation skills are vital for success in this role.
