Seeking a senior leader to drive comprehensive supply chain operations for an automotive OEM. This role oversees planning, logistics, material flow, customer satisfaction, and transformation initiatives. You will lead strategic and operational execution across plant, regional, and cross-functional teams to ensure supply chain resilience, production stability, cost efficiency, and superior customer service in a high-volume manufacturing setting. Collaboration with manufacturing, procurement, finance, engineering, quality, and commercial leaders is key to aligning supply chain performance with business goals and enhancing network operational robustness.
Direct end-to-end supply chain operations, encompassing demand and supply planning, material management, inbound/outbound logistics, warehousing, and customer fulfillment. Partner with plant and regional teams to harmonize capacity, production schedules, parts availability, transportation, and delivery targets. Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, facilitating informed decisions on demand, supply, inventory, and service levels. Ensure successful new vehicle and parts program launches by preparing planning parameters, material flow, packaging, logistics, capacity, and supplier readiness. Build and mentor a high-performing team focused on accountability, effective problem-solving, and professional growth.
Requires over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain, logistics, planning, manufacturing operations, or related fields, with substantial automotive industry experience. Demonstrated success in senior leadership within an automotive OEM or Tier 1 manufacturing environment, ideally supporting high-volume plant and regional operations. Possess deep expertise in automotive supply chain functions including production planning, materials management, logistics, inventory control, warehousing, transportation, and customer fulfillment. Proficiency with ERP and planning systems like SAP, and a solid understanding of S&OP, MRP, inventory strategies, and logistics performance metrics. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and structured continuous improvement tools (Kaizen, PDCA, Six Sigma) is essential. Working knowledge of import/export, customs, trade compliance, and regional transportation governance is a strong advantage.
