This role involves approximately 80% hands-on development and administration, complemented by 20% people management. Key responsibilities include creating functional and detailed design documents, software configuration plans, and unit test plans.

Responsibilities extend to data extraction, transformation, and loading using SQL Loader and SAS Base code, as well as managing data through the SAS AML Platform using SAS VIYA. Maintaining production and non-production environments for SAS VIYA 4.0, SAS GRID 9.4M8, and SAS AML is critical.

Tasks involve working with SAS VIYA technologies on Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes, including applying hotfixes and patches. Developing SAS Dataflux workflows and Data Flows in VIYA, implementing Entity Resolution, and customizing SAS Alert Generation Process modules are also key functions.

Additional duties include creating SAS Prep Data for custom scenarios, developing Visual Analytics and SOLR reports for data analysis, and generating ad-hoc reports. You will also create UNIX shell scripts to manage SAS job scheduling and inter-module calls, and collaborate with business analysts and partners to understand requirements and demonstrate products.

A Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, computer science, or a related field is required. We seek candidates with over 10 years of experience in cross-functional software development, including leading teams in an onshore/offshore model, and a decade of experience implementing technology solutions within banking or financial institutions.

Proven experience of at least 3 years with the OpenShift platform, Kubernetes, and AWS technologies is essential. Additionally, more than 5 years of experience in writing Unix shell scripts is necessary.

Experience with new server implementations, Commvault, and analytic reporting platforms like Visual Analytics or SOLR is required. Familiarity with web application servers such as JBoss or Tomcat, and developing applications using the J2EE tech stack, including Angular and Micro Services, is beneficial.

Expertise with job schedulers like Autosys, and experience with web services including REST, SOAP, and WSDL are expected. Candidates should demonstrate strong technical proficiency, system analysis, and application design skills, with a proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage multiple tasks effectively.

In-depth knowledge of Compliance Risks, Risk Management, and Anti-Money Laundering is mandatory, along with experience in both Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies. Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to troubleshoot issues independently are highly valued.
