Lead critical transportation and logistics execution workstreams within large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation projects. This role involves end-to-end ownership of transportation planning, execution, settlement, and carrier integration, ensuring full compliance with SAP S/4HANA best practices and enterprise logistics strategies. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional SAP teams to deliver robust and high-performing transportation solutions.

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA SD / Transportation Management (TM) Lead to drive transformative logistics initiatives.

Spearhead SAP SD/TM workstreams in S/4HANA transformation programs, taking full ownership of transportation planning, execution, and settlement. Act as the primary point of contact for all TM-related escalations. Drive innovative solution design and hands-on configuration for SAP SD/TM, encompassing freight order and unit management, planning (manual and optimizer-based), carrier selection, tendering, subcontracting, and freight settlement. Ensure seamless alignment with S/4HANA logistics architecture and SAP best practices. Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops, harmonize logistics processes, and assess custom code impacts for TM in S/4HANA. Guide master data conversion and validation, coordinate with SD, MM, WM/EWM, GTS, and FI/CO teams for integrated Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Warehouse, and Transportation processes. Collaborate with technical teams for carrier interfaces and tracking integrations. Lead testing phases (unit, SIT, UAT) and defect management, own cutover planning for shipments and settlement data, and provide go-live and hypercare support. Ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology, project standards, and documentation, while mentoring TM consultants and facilitating knowledge transfer.

Possess 10–12+ years of extensive SAP experience with deep hands-on expertise in SAP Transportation Management and SAP SD. Demonstrate a strong understanding of Logistics Execution and transportation processes, with at least 2–3 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA transformation projects in a SD/TM Lead capacity. Exhibit a comprehensive grasp of end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations. Experience with embedded TM in S/4HANA, TM integration with EWM, SD, MM, and GTS, along with freight settlement and charge calculation is essential. Exposure to real-time tracking, carrier collaboration portals, or IoT integration is advantageous. Familiarity with LeanIX or Signavio for process flow preparation is a plus. Proven leadership in delivering TM solutions for large SAP programs, coupled with strong stakeholder management and communication skills, is required. Experience in global, multi-country, and onshore-offshore delivery models is expected. Strong analytical, problem-solving, mentoring, documentation, and presentation skills are also key.
