We are seeking a seasoned SAP S/4HANA PP/DS Module Lead to spearhead the Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) workstream within large-scale S/4HANA transformation initiatives.

This pivotal role demands expertise in driving solution design, optimizing business processes, ensuring seamless system integration, and delivering advanced planning and scheduling capabilities natively within SAP S/4HANA.

The Module Lead will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to establish efficient, optimized, and scalable planning processes.

Lead the S/4HANA PP/DS workstream across various transformation projects, including greenfield, brownfield, and system conversions. Drive Fit-to-Standard (F2S) and design workshops grounded in SAP S/4HANA Best Practices, defining the transition strategy from APO PP/DS to S/4HANA embedded PP/DS.

Design, configure, and validate S/4HANA embedded PP/DS solutions, encompassing heuristics, optimization, finite/infinite scheduling, master data setup, PDS integration, and alert management, ensuring alignment with MRP, Advanced Planning, and MES processes. Furthermore, lead F2S workshops, assess custom code impacts, and guide master data conversion.

Collaborate with integrated teams (PP, MM, QM, EWM, TM, FI/CO) for end-to-end planning and execution. Coordinate master data harmonization and model consistency. Work with technical teams on enhancements and interfaces. Define data migration strategies, lead testing phases (unit, integration, UAT), and ensure planning result accuracy. Manage cutover activities and provide crucial go-live and hypercare support, acting as an escalation point for planning and scheduling issues.

Ensure adherence to project standards and SAP Activate methodology. Review and approve functional designs and test artifacts. Mentor PPDS consultants and facilitate knowledge transfer, fostering a collaborative team environment.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP PP, PP-DS, and APO is essential, with at least two full-cycle SAP S/4HANA PP/DS implementations or APO to S/4HANA PP/DS conversions.

Proficiency in S/4HANA embedded PP/DS, MRP Live, advanced planning integration, and SAP Fiori apps for planning is required. A strong understanding of manufacturing planning and scheduling concepts, including S/4HANA simplifications compared to APO PP/DS, is also crucial.

Proven leadership experience in managing PP/DS teams during large transformation programs, coupled with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, is vital. Experience in global delivery and multi-vendor environments is highly desirable.

Preferred qualifications include SAP S/4HANA certification in Manufacturing/PP/PP-DS, experience with SAP Digital Manufacturing and MES integrations, and industry experience in Manufacturing, Automotive, Aerospace, or Consumer Products. Exposure to IBP integration is an added advantage.
