NTT DATA is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA PP/QM Lead to spearhead Production Planning and Quality Management initiatives within large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformations. This pivotal role involves full ownership of manufacturing and quality solution design, delivery oversight, and ensuring the successful adoption of SAP S/4HANA best practices. Lead SAP S/4HANA PP and QM workstreams for transformation programs, encompassing Greenfield, Brownfield, and Selective Data Transition projects. Take full responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of Plan-to-Produce and Production Execution processes, acting as the primary point of contact for all PP/QM related escalations.

Drive robust solution design and hands-on configuration for critical SAP PP modules (Demand Management, MRP, BOMs, Routings, Work Centers, Capacity Planning, Production Orders) and SAP QM modules (Inspection Planning, Types, Results Recording, Usage Decisions, Quality Notifications). Ensure the seamless integration of manufacturing and quality processes, including coordination with MM, WM/EWM, SD, PM, and FI/CO teams. Oversee testing, cutover planning, and provide essential go-live and hypercare support.

Guide the adoption of S/4HANA manufacturing and quality simplifications and innovations, making key decisions for Discrete vs. Process Manufacturing scenarios. Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops, manage custom code impacts, and oversee master data conversion and validation. Ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology and project standards, review functional designs, and mentor PP/QM consultants.

Candidates should possess 10-12 years of extensive SAP experience with deep hands-on expertise in SAP PP and SAP QM, particularly within Discrete and/or Process Manufacturing environments. A minimum of 2-3 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA transformation projects in a Lead capacity is essential, alongside a strong understanding of manufacturing and quality management business processes. Familiarity with S/4HANA MRP and production execution simplifications, QM integration with MM and PP, and batch/serial number processing is required.

Proven leadership in delivering PP/QM solutions for large SAP programs is critical. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience in global onshore-offshore delivery models, are highly valued. While not mandatory, exposure to Advanced Planning tools like PP/DS or IBP, as well as knowledge of LeanIX or Signavio for process flow discussions, is considered advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a mentoring and coaching mindset, are essential for success in this role.
