An Enterprise Resource Planning Advisor specializing in SAP RAR is sought to drive accurate, compliant, and automated revenue recognition. This role is pivotal in implementing and supporting SAP RAR solutions that adhere to stringent accounting standards like IFRS 15 and ASC 606.

Ideal candidates will leverage their expertise to ensure seamless financial operations and accurate reporting. The position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and a deep understanding of revenue accounting principles.

Key responsibilities include analyzing and documenting revenue recognition requirements based on IFRS 15/ASC 606. This involves the design and configuration of SAP RAR scenarios, covering contract identification, performance obligations, transaction price allocation, revenue recognition rules, revenue contracts, event-based revenue recognition, and posting rules with account determination.

Further duties encompass performing impact analyses on upstream and downstream systems such as SD, FI, CRM, and BRIM. The role also requires supporting data migration and reconciliation during implementations or upgrades, as well as monitoring and resolving RAR processing errors. Preparing functional specifications, user documentation, and test cases are also integral parts of this position.

A minimum of 8 years in SAP Finance is required, with at least 4 years specifically in S/4 HANA Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR). Strong knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Banking is essential. Proven experience in integrating SAP RAR with SAP SD, FI/CO, BRIM, and S/4HANA Finance is crucial.

Candidates must have participated in at least two end-to-end implementation projects and two product support projects for S4H RAR. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with strong organizational and time management skills, are necessary. The candidate should hold an educational qualification of CA/CWA/CMA or MBA Finance, complemented by outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
