The SAP Business Project Manager is responsible for comprehensive project oversight, including planning, execution, governance, and stakeholder engagement. You will guide business process design, testing, training, and change management efforts, ensuring a smooth transition and post-go-live stabilization. Collaboration with business leaders, IT, system integrators, and executive sponsors is fundamental to delivering successful SAP-enabled business transformation.

As a SAP Project Manager, you will spearhead SAP implementation, upgrade, and transformation programs. This involves developing and managing detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. You will coordinate activities across diverse business functions such as Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, HR, and Customer Service, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery of milestones and business objectives. Proactive issue resolution and maintaining alignment between business priorities and project goals are key.

Your role includes partnering with business process owners to redefine operating models and facilitate workshops for requirements gathering. You'll identify opportunities for process standardization and automation using SAP best practices, and support organizational adjustments. Ensuring business processes adhere to corporate policies and regulatory standards is also a vital part of your responsibility.

Effective stakeholder management is essential, building strong relationships with executive sponsors and business leaders. You will facilitate governance meetings, communicate project status, risks, and decisions to leadership, and manage expectations to resolve cross-functional conflicts. Promoting collaboration between business and IT organizations is a priority.

You will develop and execute comprehensive business readiness plans, including organizational assessments and user training coordination. This ensures business users are well-prepared for new SAP processes and technology, covering process validation, role mapping, security, operational readiness, and support model preparation.

Partnering with Organizational Change Management (OCM) teams, you will drive user adoption through strategic communication and engagement plans. You'll support change impact assessments, coordinate training development, and monitor adoption metrics to address any resistance.

Leading business participation in testing phases, including SIT and UAT, is critical. You will ensure adequate testing of business scenarios, coordinate defect resolution, and secure business sign-offs.

Collaboration with the SAP Cutover Manager will ensure business readiness for go-live. You will coordinate deployment activities, validate cutover tasks, support go/no-go assessments, and participate in command center activities to minimize business disruption.

We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred. You should possess 8–12 years of project management experience, specifically within business-led technology transformation initiatives. A minimum of 5 years supporting SAP implementation or transformation programs is required, along with proven experience managing cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

A strong understanding of business operations and process improvement methodologies is essential. Experience with SAP solutions such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, SAP Ariba, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Concur, SAP IBP, SAP EWM, SAP TM, or SAP CX is highly advantageous. Familiarity with project management tools like Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Primavera, Jira, or Azure DevOps, as well as Visio and SharePoint, is expected.

Core competencies should include business process analysis, project and program management, stakeholder engagement, executive communication, organizational change management, and risk/issue management. Strategic planning, vendor coordination, and strong decision-making and problem-solving skills are also crucial for success in this role. Preferred certifications include PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, CSM, SAFe Agilist, SAP Activate Project Manager, Prosci Change Management, or Lean Six Sigma.
