Embark on a challenging role within EY's Global Delivery Services as a Senior SAP IS U ABAP Developer. You will be instrumental in driving high-impact Utilities transformation programs, focusing on complex SAP IS U and SAP Workflow solutions for Electricity, Gas, and Water sectors. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to end-to-end implementations and support, building robust, event-driven technical solutions for Meter to Cash processes using ABAP and SAP Workflow.

Design, develop, and enhance ABAP solutions within SAP IS U, closely integrated with SAP Workflow. Develop and support RICEF objects, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms. Implement comprehensive SAP Workflow solutions covering templates, tasks, containers, bindings, and conditions, utilizing BOR/Class-based objects and event-driven mechanisms. Debug workflows using SWI1, SWDD, and SWEL. Work extensively with IS U modules like Device Management, Billing & Invoicing, Customer Service, and FI CA.

Implement enhancements, BADIs, User Exits, and FQ Events. Develop various ALV reports (Classical, Interactive, OO ALV). Support critical client processes such as Move In/Out, Disconnection/Reconnection, and Meter Installation/Replacement through workflow-enabled solutions. Develop and maintain SmartForms/Adobe Forms for billing and correspondence. Integrate BAPIs, RFCs, IDOCs, and workflow event interfaces. Perform crucial debugging, performance tuning, and root cause analysis for ABAP and workflow issues. Prepare Technical Design Documents (TDDs) and support various testing phases (Unit, SIT, UAT), ensuring adherence to coding standards and workflow best practices.

A strong foundation in SAP ABAP is essential, coupled with in-depth experience in SAP IS U. Possess a solid working knowledge of SAP Workflow concepts, including templates, tasks, containers, bindings, conditions, and event linkage. A firm understanding of Meter to Cash utilities business processes is required. Expertise in Core ABAP (DDIC, Reports, ALV, Modularization, Debugger) and working knowledge of OO ABAP (Classes, Methods, Events) are necessary.

Experience with IS U Master Data (BMD, TMD) is expected. Strong analytical capabilities are needed to translate functional requirements into technical solutions. Proven ability to debug and troubleshoot standard and custom workflows is crucial. Good communication and documentation skills are also vital for success in this role.
