This role focuses on managing and optimizing SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) solutions. You will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and supporting critical data archiving and content management strategies within complex SAP environments.

As an ILM Manager, you will design, implement, and maintain SAP Data Archiving and ArchiveLink solutions, often integrated with OpenText and SAP ILM. You will define and execute data archiving strategies, conduct data volume management analyses, and optimize data growth. Responsibilities include supporting OpenText Content Server, Core Archive, Archive Server, and implementing OpenText ADA & InfoArchive for SAP.

You will also configure and manage SAP ILM for archiving and retention, monitor background jobs, and troubleshoot archiving issues. Collaboration with SAP functional modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, HR) and clients is essential for understanding requirements and delivering effective solutions. Participation in OpenText xECM for SAP implementations and basic SAP Basis activities are also part of the role.

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in SAP Data Archiving, including strong exposure to SAP ILM and OpenText. Essential technical knowledge includes SAP Data Archiving, SAP ArchiveLink, SAP integration with OpenText, ECM/xECM solutions, ECC/S/4HANA data volume management, and SAP ILM for Archiving. Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments is required.

Strong analytical skills are necessary for assessing data growth challenges, complemented by the ability to work effectively in global, complex system landscapes. Excellent communication skills are vital for interacting with both technical and business stakeholders. This is a hands-on consulting role for an expert in SAP and OpenText archiving who is comfortable in international environments and adept at translating business needs into robust archiving solutions.
