This position is instrumental in ensuring the quality and integrity of SAP HCM Time Management and Payroll functionalities. The ideal candidate will leverage deep expertise in testing complex SAP HCM configurations and custom developments. You will be a key player in a team dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions in a collaborative environment.

Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for SAP HCM Time Management and Payroll, including intricate custom Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs), schema adjustments, and ABAP reports.

Design and execute test scenarios for time evaluation, quota processing, retroactive payroll, and schema/PCR changes, meticulously validating results against business rules.

Manage regression testing for all payroll and time processes impacted by ongoing changes, safeguarding existing custom rules and reports.

Build and maintain automated test scripts using tools like TOSCA to enhance efficiency and accelerate regression cycles.

Effectively log, triage, and track defects, collaborating closely with development teams for timely resolution and retesting.

Prepare and manage diverse test data sets for complex retroactive and payroll scenarios.

Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles, ensuring seamless coordination with stakeholders.

Maintain accurate documentation, including test scripts, results, and traceability matrices.

A seasoned SAP HCM testing professional with 6-10 years of experience, specializing in Time Management and Payroll modules. Proven expertise in testing complex custom PCRs, schema modifications, and time/payroll rule changes is essential.

Demonstrated ability to test custom ABAP reports and objects within SAP HCM is required. Hands-on experience with SAP test automation tools such as TOSCA is crucial for building and maintaining automated scripts independently.

A strong grasp of retroactive payroll processing and its testing implications is necessary. Experience executing SIT and supporting UAT, including defect management, is expected.

Familiarity with SAP HCM standard testing terminology (e.g., Positive Functional Test, Retroactive Accounting Check) and excellent communication skills to collaborate with functional, technical, and business teams are vital.

Consideration for candidates with S/4HANA HCM experience, Fiori/OData testing exposure, or experience with third-party integrations is beneficial. Familiarity with collective agreement–driven configuration testing and an SAP HCM functional certification are advantageous.
