Lead and manage comprehensive SAP Group Reporting implementation projects, overseeing teams responsible for generating and reviewing consolidation figures for monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and year-end reporting.

Drive the consolidation of business unit performance, producing periodic management reports on actuals, budgets, and forecasts. Develop and enhance financial reporting processes for data validation and analysis, recommending improvements where applicable. Analyze reported figures, collaborating with regional financial managers and controllers for follow-up actions and consult on technical IFRS accounting inquiries.

Configure and customize financial statement items, map General Ledger (G/L) accounts, and oversee the integration of Group Reporting with S/4 HANA applications, offering expert advice on scope and limitations. Ensure seamless integration of SAP Group Reporting with SAP FICO on S/4 HANA. Set up essential system components like Attributes, Breakdown Categories, Sub-items, and categories, along with hierarchies for financial statement items, consolidation units/groups, and other dimensions.

Configure balance carry forwards and currency translation methods. Implement inter-unit eliminations, reclassifications, and manual eliminations. Manage purchase and equity methods of consolidation, and set up data and consolidation monitors. Gain experience in "activity-based" consolidation of investments and effectively handle new acquisitions, divestitures, or changes within the consolidation group. Take ownership of decision-making, process optimization, resource allocation, and team supervision to ensure task execution and performance alignment with organizational goals.

A seasoned professional with 3-7 years of relevant experience is required to manage and implement consolidation projects. Expertise in SAP Group Reporting (2 years) is essential, alongside prior experience with SAP BPC, BCS, ECCS, or BOFC. A strong understanding of IFRS and local GAAP accounting standards is crucial.

SAP Consolidation experience is mandatory, including proficiency with SAP BPC, SEM-BCS, EC-CS, FI-LC, and ECC, backed by a solid accounting and finance background. Candidates should possess strong configuration skills and functional knowledge to perform legal consolidations effectively. Experience in configuring SAP S/4 HANA Group Reporting (on-premise/cloud) and delivering work products meeting client standards is expected.

Key responsibilities include managing the consolidation process for subsidiary entities to produce unified group financial results. You will also assist in mentoring and developing graduates within the Group Financial team. Familiarity with configuring various objects in SAP FICO (at least one project) is beneficial. The role involves understanding client requirements, proposing solutions, creating functional specifications, and configuring the group reporting system accordingly. Experience in configuring/defining specific S/4 HANA Group Reporting objects is also anticipated.
