We are seeking seasoned SAP AFCC Managers to join our dynamic SAP Finance team. This role is pivotal in leading the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of financial closing processes leveraging SAP Advanced Financial Closing (AFC), typically within an S/4HANA environment. Focus on automating, accelerating, and monitoring critical month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing tasks across complex, heterogeneous system landscapes. Contribute to building a better working world by enhancing efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Lead the configuration of SAP AFC task lists, defining dependencies and workflows to streamline closing activities. Standardize and automate manual processes, employing best-practice templates to expedite the financial close. Integrate AFC seamlessly with both on-premises and cloud systems, including SAP ERP, S/4HANA, and various third-party solutions. Provide real-time visibility into closing progress across subsidiaries and headquarters, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and a robust audit trail. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to task execution, system connectivity, and data inconsistencies. Collaborate effectively with finance, IT, and external stakeholders to meticulously define business requirements and ensure a frictionless closing process.

This role requires a qualified CA, ICWA, MBA Finance, or M.Com from a reputable institution, backed by substantial industry/domain experience and 7 to 11 years of SAP-specific experience. Key areas of expertise include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inter-company Accounting, Project System, and Management Accounting. A minimum of two end-to-end SAP AFCC implementation experiences is mandatory.

Proficiency extends to creating and managing automated task chains, including the automatic triggering and execution of ABAP programs and jobs. You will be adept at configuring closing structures, defining task dependencies, and managing task list parameters. Essential skills include utilizing real-time monitoring for compliance, governance, and transparency of the financial close. Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP Fiori apps for closing task management, and job scheduling is crucial. Experience integrating AFCC with SAP S/4HANA Cloud and understanding potential external add-ons for extended record-to-report automation, such as Blackline, is highly valued. A strong grasp of general ledger, account reconciliation, and financial reporting principles is expected.
