Seeking a seasoned SAP EWM AMS Consultant to deliver comprehensive Application Maintenance and Support (AMS) for a sophisticated global warehouse network spanning North America and Europe. You will be instrumental in supporting both SAP EWM 9.4 and SAP S/4HANA EWM 2023 environments. Your role involves ensuring the smooth operation of warehouses across numerous factories and distribution centers through expert incident and problem resolution, proactive monitoring, effective change management, and a dedication to continuous service improvement.

This position demands robust functional and technical proficiency in SAP EWM, exceptional troubleshooting capabilities, and integration knowledge. The ability to support a demanding 24x7x365 global business environment is essential.

Provide L1, L2, and L3 support for SAP EWM applications across diverse warehouse sites, managing incidents, service requests, problems, and changes via ServiceNow. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues within strict SLA timelines, supporting critical warehouse operations such as inbound processing, putaway, production staging, picking, packing, outbound shipping, inventory management, cycle counting, cross-docking, loading, yard processes, quality management, and value-added services.

Execute proactive application monitoring and address EMS alerts, oversee interfaces, queues, and background jobs. Reprocess failed queues and integration messages post-maintenance. Support RF device troubleshooting and warehouse mobility solutions, coordinating with infrastructure teams during planned maintenance. Engage in deployment activities across all environments, participate in release planning, validation, and post-release support, and conduct regression and liberation testing. Perform thorough root cause analysis for recurring incidents, maintain the Known Error Database, and drive incident reduction initiatives. Create and update functional specifications, technical specifications, SOPs, test cases, evidence, RCA, and KBA documents. Support audit, compliance, and access management activities, ensuring documentation remains current.

A minimum of 5 to 12 years of dedicated SAP EWM support experience is required, with proven expertise in AMS environments supporting global warehouse operations across multiple sites. Hands-on experience with SAP EWM 9.4 and SAP S/4HANA EWM is crucial, alongside strong exposure to warehouse automation and integration technologies. Candidates must have experience managing production support, deployments, testing, and RCA activities within SLA-driven environments.

Essential technical skills include deep knowledge of SAP EWM processes (e.g., Warehouse Process Management, RF Framework, Inventory Management, Yard Management, Quality Management, Wave Management, Labor Management), and integration with systems like SAP ECC/S4, SAP OTM, PLC, ASRS, AGVs, TGW, and third-party logistics applications. Proficiency in debugging, troubleshooting, queue monitoring, SQL, MOCA, and interface monitoring is necessary. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, an ownership mindset, the ability to perform in a 24x7 support model, excellent communication, and stakeholder management capabilities are highly valued.
