This role focuses on leveraging SAP Event Management (EM) to provide real-time, end-to-end visibility across business processes. The objective is to automate the detection of deviations and trigger appropriate reactions to events, ultimately optimizing supply chain efficiency and performance.

Key responsibilities include designing, configuring, and implementing SAP EM solutions. This involves setting up Expected and Unexpected Events, along with Event Processors for automated alerts and actions. Integration with other SAP modules (S/4HANA, TM, WM, GTS) and external systems is crucial, utilizing technologies like RFCs, IDOCs, and XML/PI. The role also entails developing Event Handlers, Rule Sets, and Web Interface functionalities, alongside performing data mapping, migration, and ensuring data integrity. Providing functional/technical support, troubleshooting, and creating functional specifications and test plans are also integral parts of this position.

Candidates should possess proven experience as an SAP Event Management Consultant or Specialist. A strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA and SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM), along with related modules, is essential. Proficiency in technical skills such as RFCs, IDOCs, BAPI, and XML is required. Functional expertise in supply chain visibility, event monitoring, and exception management is also a key requirement.
