Seeking a skilled SAP Enterprise Portal Consultant with 5-10 years of experience to manage and optimize our SAP EP environment. This role involves comprehensive administration, configuration, and support of SAP Enterprise Portal, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical acumen in SAP EP components and a proven ability to resolve complex issues, making them a valuable asset to our team.

Key responsibilities include administering, configuring, and maintaining SAP Enterprise Portal (EP), along with managing essential components like Portal Roles, Worksets, Pages, and iViews. You will configure and sustain the Portal Content Directory (PCD), oversee user management, role assignments, and permissions, and troubleshoot access-related issues.

Additionally, this role requires configuring and resolving Single Sign-On (SSO) and authentication mechanisms. You'll support integration efforts with various SAP and non-SAP applications, monitor portal health, performance, and logs, and adeptly troubleshoot login, navigation, authorization, connectivity, and performance problems.

Further duties involve supporting SAP NetWeaver Java / AS Java administration, coordinating with cross-functional teams for issue resolution, and assisting with portal patches, upgrades, and system refreshes. Root-cause analysis for recurring issues, incident management, and support during testing and deployment phases are also critical. Maintaining SOPs and documentation is essential.

Mandatory skills include strong hands-on experience with SAP Enterprise Portal / SAP NetWeaver Portal, and proficiency in managing iViews, Pages, Worksets, Roles, and the Portal Content Directory (PCD). A good understanding of SAP NetWeaver AS Java, User Management Engine (UME), and portal security is also required.

Familiarity with SSO, authentication, certificates, and SAP system connectivity is essential, alongside proven experience in portal monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis. A solid grasp of integration with SAP backend systems and experience in AMS L2/L3 support or implementation projects are vital.
