Seeking a seasoned SAP Enterprise Portal Consultant to join our team. This role focuses on the administration, configuration, and ongoing support of SAP Enterprise Portal (EP) and its associated components. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of portal architecture and integration capabilities.

This position involves managing critical portal elements such as roles, worksets, pages, and iViews. You will be responsible for maintaining the Portal Content Directory (PCD) and ensuring seamless user access through effective role and permission management. Expertise in Single Sign-On (SSO) and authentication mechanisms is essential.

Key duties include administering and maintaining SAP Enterprise Portal, managing portal content like roles, worksets, pages, and iViews. You will configure and sustain the Portal Content Directory (PCD) and address user management and access issues. Responsibilities extend to configuring and troubleshooting Single Sign-On (SSO) and authentication, along with supporting integration with various SAP and non-SAP applications.

Continuous monitoring of portal availability, performance, and logs is crucial. You'll troubleshoot login, navigation, authorization, and connectivity problems. Support for SAP NetWeaver Java administration, coordination with other IT teams, and participation in patching, upgrades, and system refreshes are also integral. Performing root-cause analysis for production issues and handling tickets within SLAs are part of the role. Support extends to testing, deployment, and post-production stabilization, alongside maintaining essential documentation.

A strong foundation in SAP Enterprise Portal or SAP NetWeaver Portal is mandatory, with hands-on experience in iViews, Pages, Worksets, Roles, and PCD. Proficiency in SAP NetWeaver AS Java, User Management Engine (UME), and portal security is required.

Familiarity with SSO, authentication, certificates, and SAP system connectivity is essential. Demonstrated experience in portal monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis is key. A solid understanding of integration with SAP backend systems and experience in AMS L2/L3 support or implementation projects are necessary. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills are fundamental for success in this role.
