Join our team as an experienced SAP Digital Manufacturing Architect, a crucial role focused on the design, implementation, and ongoing support of SAP Digital Manufacturing solutions. This position is key to ensuring streamlined and integrated shop floor execution, offering expert guidance on manufacturing execution best practices. While direct SAP Digital Manufacturing experience is highly valued, we also welcome candidates with robust hands-on experience in SAP MES and/or SAP MII.

We are looking for a professional adept in shop floor integration, production order execution, work center operations, traceability, quality checks, and capturing both labor and machine data. This role also involves integrating these processes seamlessly with SAP S/4HANA manufacturing and supply chain functions.

Your responsibilities will include managing and supporting manufacturing execution processes within SAP Digital Manufacturing. This involves configuring and maintaining essential components like Production Operator Dashboards (PODs), work centers/resources, routings, work instructions, and data collection mechanisms.

You will conduct solution assessments, implement improvements, and develop mitigation strategies for manufacturing execution challenges, ensuring adherence to internal manufacturing standards and process controls. Leading SAP Digital Manufacturing projects, including implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and enhancements, will be a significant part of your role. Furthermore, you will develop and maintain comprehensive solution design and process documentation, monitor system integrations for issues, and conduct regular system and process reviews with detailed reporting.

Collaboration is vital, as you will work closely with IT, business, operations, and integration teams to ensure seamless connectivity between SAP Digital Manufacturing and other SAP and non-SAP systems. Providing essential training and support to end-users on SAP Digital Manufacturing processes and issue resolution is also expected.

The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of 7 years of experience in designing, implementing, and operating distributed applications, with at least 8 years specifically in SAP manufacturing, MES, or SAP Digital Manufacturing implementation and support.

In-depth knowledge of SAP Digital Manufacturing concepts is essential, encompassing production execution, PODs, work instructions, data collection, nonconformance management, resource/work center setup, and manufacturing process integration. You should also be experienced in integrating SAP Digital Manufacturing with SAP S/4HANA/ECC, SAP BTP, and other relevant shop floor or enterprise systems. Proficiency in manufacturing master data and transactional processes, including materials, BOMs, routings/recipes, production/process orders, and confirmations, is required.

Preferred qualifications include experience with SAP ERP solutions, particularly SAP S/4HANA, and relevant SAP certifications in manufacturing or SAP Digital Manufacturing. Knowledge of industry-standard manufacturing processes, digital manufacturing best practices, SAP BTP, integration platforms, manufacturing analytics, and POD extensibility are also advantageous.
