EY is seeking a distinguished SAP Data Leader with over two decades of experience to serve as a strategic advisor to C-suite executives. This pivotal role involves spearheading large-scale data transformation initiatives, particularly SAP S/4HANA programs. Key responsibilities include defining the enterprise data strategy and roadmap, establishing SAP Business Data Cloud as the core for analytics and AI. You will lead complex SAP S/4HANA data migration and modernization programs at scale, while providing executive advisory and managing stakeholders to influence strategic decisions and showcase the value of intelligent, data-driven technologies.

Further duties involve implementing enterprise-wide data governance, setting standards for data quality, stewardship, and master data management (MDG). Driving the adoption of AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics solutions like SAP Joule and Predictive Analytics is crucial. You will also lead and mentor global SAP teams, ensure successful delivery across cross-functional initiatives, and support business growth through pre-sales activities, solution design, proposal development, and client engagement.

The ideal candidate possesses over 20 years of IT experience, with at least 10 years dedicated to SAP Data & Analytics architecture and strategy, including 5 years in leadership roles. Proficiency in SAP Datasphere, BODS, Information Steward, and data migration tools such as Syniti and LTMC is required. Strong architectural skills are needed for designing modern data platforms and integrating SAP with non-SAP ecosystems like Snowflake and Databricks.

Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing global teams and driving transformation within complex organizations are essential. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration is expected. Key competencies include strategic thinking aligned with business objectives, clear communication to simplify technical concepts for executives, effective problem-solving for critical project risks, and expertise in data modeling, semantic modeling, CDS Views, and data lineage.
