As a Senior SAP CPI specialist, your responsibilities will include gathering business and functional specifications to deliver precise solutions. You will interpret requirements, develop detailed technical specifications, and work extensively on both custom and standard integration packages. Key duties involve utilizing SAP Cloud Connector and CPI cockpit, applying Java and Groovy scripting, and performing SAP CPI support activities. You'll also be responsible for root cause analysis of critical issues, proposing effective solutions, and conducting unit, system, and integration testing throughout the project lifecycle. This senior role includes decision-making, process optimization, resource management, and team supervision to ensure successful task execution and performance evaluation.

We are seeking professionals with proven experience in business process orchestration products such as Hana Cloud Integration (HCI), SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), Dell Boomi, or SAP Process Integration (PI) / Process Orchestration (PO). The ideal candidate will have a track record of delivering client projects, from requirement gathering to technical design and interface development. Building integration strategies for hybrid landscapes (on-premise and cloud applications like SuccessFactors, Ariba) is essential, along with expertise in data architecture and pre-packaged cloud integrations. Experience with various adapters (SFTP, SOAP, REST, IDOC, ODATA, JDBC, SuccessFactors) for A2A and B2B scenarios is required, alongside a strong understanding of security concepts like SSL and PGP encryption. While Groovy scripting experience is preferred, a solid foundation in integration best practices, excellent business communication, and leadership skills are vital. A college degree in a related technology field or equivalent experience is necessary, with approximately 3+ years of development experience demonstrating increasing responsibility.
