Key responsibilities include leading the delivery of solution or infrastructure development for projects, designing, developing, and overseeing maintenance of deliverables while ensuring team compliance with standards. You will translate user requirements into detailed design specifications and review the technical work of others.

Further, you will gain end-to-end understanding of development processes, work on Proofs of Concept (POCs) to inform design decisions, and contribute to project delivery by enabling team development efforts. You will also identify areas for team growth and improvement, and collaborate with other professionals to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain SAP-based applications.

To excel in this role, a deep understanding of SAP BTP architecture and services is essential, along with experience in leading teams and driving initiatives. Proven experience in building applications on the SAP BTP Platform, specifically using SAP BTP-Cloud Application Programming, is required. Proficiency in Java/Node.js development for cloud-native applications and integrations with on-premises systems is crucial.

We are looking for candidates with a strong grasp of cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and open standards like SAML, SCIM, OAuth, and OpenID Connect. Familiarity with SAP BAS and SAP BTP Cockpit tools, along with strong experience in SAPUI5 and/or HTML5 or other front-end frameworks, is necessary. Experience with Github, CI/CD best practices, and modern software engineering principles including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and releasing is also expected. Familiarity with agile methods such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery is beneficial.
