Join our team as a SAP Basis/Security Consultant, focusing on traditional AMS services. This role requires a strong understanding of SAP Basis and Security technical aspects, coupled with excellent communication skills. You will be instrumental in supporting complex SAP environments.

We are seeking a seasoned professional with experience in support projects, system upgrades, and OS/DB migrations. Your expertise in managing AMS projects and tickets will be crucial, alongside a proven track record of at least three end-to-end BW implementation projects. Key responsibilities include providing SAP Basis and Security technical support for traditional AMS services. You will manage SAP projects and tickets, ensuring smooth operations and efficient resolution of issues. A significant part of the role involves supporting ECC, PI, BW, APO, GATP, and BODS systems, ensuring their optimal performance and availability.

This position also entails guiding the basis support team technically, coordinating with functional teams, and managing profile, role, and authorization assignments based on best practices. You will be responsible for the entire Basis operation, including handling internal and external escalations, and performing SAP Security activities such as role creation and assignment.

Ideal candidates will possess 7-9 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis and Security. A solid understanding of system development methodologies, project management, and system architecture is essential. You should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address both IT and business challenges effectively.

Candidates must have excellent influencing and communication skills, with the capacity to translate technical information for non-technical users. Strong organizational, time management, and client service skills are also vital. The role requires flexibility to work in different shifts as per project needs, including potential weekend work for urgent business requirements.
