Key responsibilities include performance monitoring and tuning, issue diagnosis, root-cause analysis, and resolution across SAP environments (UNIX & Windows). You will manage system copy/refresh, dual-stack system administration, and handle add-on installations, Support Pack updates, and kernel upgrades. Expertise in transport management, system monitoring, parameter optimization, and SAP authorization is essential. Experience with Single Sign-On, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), user provisioning, and OS/DB migration concepts is also required.

Responsibilities extend to managing SAP connectivity components, cloud deployments, and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC). You will also be instrumental in optimizing HANA database performance, backup/restore strategies, and ensuring SAP system security and compliance with relevant regulations. Leading BASIS teams and collaborating with cross-functional units are also core aspects of this role.

This role requires 9 to 10 years of experience in SAP Basis, with a strong emphasis on leadership. You should possess solid hands-on experience in SAP system administration, including installation, configuration, upgrades, migrations, and performance optimization. A deep understanding of SAP architecture, transport management, kernel upgrades, client strategies, and system refresh processes is vital.

Essential skills include expertise in SAP HANA administration, managing various SAP landscapes (S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, etc.), and knowledge of SAP BTP and integration services. Experience with RISE with SAP environments, cloud operational activities, and strong documentation skills are necessary. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are paramount, along with in-depth expertise in Solution Manager functionalities and familiarity with Signavio and LeanIX. Knowledge of HA/DR strategies, Linux, Windows, and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) is also expected.
