NTT DATA is seeking an innovative and passionate SAP BASIS professional to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana. The consultant will engage in traditional AMS services, requiring excellent communication and technical skills.

This position involves working in multiple shifts (6 AM - 2 PM, 2 PM - 10 PM, or 10 PM - 6 AM), with flexibility to swap shifts based on project needs. The role demands strong communication abilities to effectively manage project requirements and team collaboration.

Key responsibilities include performing SAP BASIS technical tasks for AMS services. The role involves managing support projects, executing upgrades, and handling OS/DB migrations. Candidates will support ECC, PI, BW, APO, GATP, and BODS systems, ensuring their optimal performance and availability. Responsibilities also extend to troubleshooting and resolving escalated calls, configuring SAProuter and OSS, and managing SAP logon groups.

Additional duties encompass managing offline/online backups, performing database restoration and recovery, and handling SAP installations and re-installations. Planning and executing support package and kernel patch upgrades, as well as client copies and transports, are crucial. The role also involves planning and executing database upgrades, reviewing Oracle parameters for performance optimization, and monitoring SDCC for EWA configuration.

A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is required for this role. Candidates should possess a graduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Essential skills include SAP Administration, managing Support Packages, Printer Configuration, BEx Installation, and Solution Manager expertise. Experience supporting ECC, PI, BW, APO, GATP, and BODS systems is mandatory.

Preferred qualifications include experience with Azure, cloud environments, and Sybase & MAXDB databases. SAP Basis certifications are a plus. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to understand IT and business challenges, and excellent influencing and communication abilities. Proficiency in organizational and time management is also expected.
