Administer, monitor, and maintain SAP S/4HANA or ECC landscapes, including development, quality, and production systems.

Perform essential system tasks such as installation, configuration, refresh, client copy, kernel upgrades, and patch management.

Manage critical system operations including start/stop procedures, transport management, spool administration, background jobs, and user administration.

Provide support for SAP implementation, upgrade, migration, and conversion projects.

Conduct system monitoring, performance tuning, and issue resolution to ensure optimal system availability and stability.

Manage SAP database administration activities, collaborating with database teams or independently as needed.

Oversee system copies, backups, recovery support, and disaster recovery planning.

Support administration of SAP Fiori, SAP Gateway, Web Dispatcher, and SAP Cloud Connector.

Maintain security-related Basis activities, including role coordination, SSL certificates, and RFC connections.

Collaborate effectively with infrastructure, network, database, and application teams for comprehensive environment support.

Ensure meticulous documentation, adherence to operational procedures, and compliance with SAP best practices.

Demonstrate strong experience in SAP Basis administration and provide hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA or ECC systems and landscape support.

Possess a solid understanding of SAP installation, upgrades, patching, transport management, and system refresh activities.

Exhibit familiarity with SAP database administration concepts and have experience with SAP Fiori, SAP Gateway, Web Dispatcher, and SAP Cloud Connector.

Show an understanding of SAP Solution Manager, monitoring tools, and system performance analysis.

Be proficient in Unix/Linux and Windows server environments, coupled with strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

We prefer candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, and 8+ years of SAP Basis experience. Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or support projects is highly valued. SAP Basis, SAP HANA, or S/4HANA certification is a plus, as is exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP for SAP hosting.
