NTT DATA is seeking a skilled SAP BASIS professional to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad, Telangana. This role is crucial for providing technical expertise in traditional AMS services, supporting critical SAP environments.

Provide expert SAP BASIS administration and technical support for ECC, PI, BW, APO, GATP, and BODS systems.

Manage and resolve escalated technical issues, including troubleshooting, problem resolution, and root cause analysis.

Perform system installations, configurations, upgrades, and migrations, including OS/DB changes.

Implement and manage SAP support packages, kernel patches, and client copies/transports.

Oversee backup and recovery processes, including database restoration and management of backup tapes.

Configure and maintain SAP system landscapes, including Solution Manager and printer configurations.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot deadlocks and timeouts, and optimize database performance through parameter reviews.

Guide and mentor junior basis support personnel, ensuring adherence to best practices and operational excellence.

Coordinate effectively with functional teams and stakeholders, providing technical guidance and support.

Ensure compliance with change management procedures and maintain comprehensive documentation for basis operations.

A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in SAP BASIS administration is required.

Demonstrated expertise in core SAP BASIS activities, including system installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.

Proficiency in managing SAP systems such as ECC, PI, BW, APO, GATP, and BODS.

Experience with OS/DB migrations and cloud platforms like Azure is highly desirable.

Solid understanding of system development methodologies, project management, and system architecture.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex IT and business challenges.

Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills, facilitating clear communication between technical and non-technical users.

SAP Basis certifications are preferred.
