Lead the end-to-end migration strategy for SAP landscapes to Azure, from initial assessments through execution and setup of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR).

Architect and plan the migration of SAP systems, including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and PI/PO, to Azure IaaS and PaaS environments.

Evaluate existing systems for optimal sizing in Azure, configure virtual networks, security groups, and ExpressRoute. Formulate migration roadmaps utilizing tools like SUM with DMO for OS/DB migrations and S/4HANA conversions.

Oversee export/import procedures, database migrations (AnyDB to HANA, Oracle to Azure SQL/HANA), and deploy SAP VMs with appropriate Azure storage and backup solutions.

Implement IaC or configuration automation using scripting languages. Analyze system usage for right-sizing VMs and cost optimization through Reserved Instances and Savings Plans.

Manage SAP HANA backup/recovery, system replication, tenant databases, and optimize MS SQL Server configurations. Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks using various monitoring tools.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field is required.

Candidates must possess over 10 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, with at least 3-5 years specifically dedicated to hyperscaler cloud migrations, particularly on Azure.

Proficiency in SAP tooling such as SUM DMO, SWPM, Migmon/R3load, DBACOCKPIT, and HANA Cockpit is essential. Strong skills in MS SQL Server stack (SSMS, Always On, TDE) and Azure native services like Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery are also required.

Experience with Linux (RHEL/SUSE) and Windows Server environments, alongside deep SQL/HANA database administration expertise, is critical. Relevant certifications like SAP Certified Technology Associate/Specialist and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AZ-120 are highly advantageous.
