We are hiring a Senior SAP Basis & Cloud Migration Architect with extensive experience in SAP Basis administration and advanced cloud architecture, specifically within Azure.

This role involves leading end-to-end migration strategies for complex SAP landscapes to the Azure cloud. You will be instrumental in planning, designing, and executing these migrations, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.

Lead the technical architecture, planning, and execution of migrating SAP landscapes (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO) to Microsoft Azure.

Perform detailed assessments, including system sizing, CPU/RAM requirement calculations, and storage optimization for Azure environments.

Design robust Azure landing zones, virtual networks, and security configurations for SAP traffic.

Develop comprehensive migration roadmaps, utilizing tools like SUM with DMO for lift-and-shift, OS/DB migrations, or S/4HANA conversions.

Manage export/import procedures, database migrations (e.g., AnyDB to HANA), and the deployment of SAP VMs with optimized Azure storage solutions.

Configure Azure-native clustering and IaC tools for seamless, zero-downtime operations.

Analyze system usage to right-size Azure VMs and implement cost-saving automation.

Oversee SAP HANA backup/recovery, replication, and tenant database management. Optimize MS SQL Server configurations and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks using various monitoring tools.

Requires over 10 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, with a minimum of 3-5 years focused on hyperscaler cloud migrations, particularly Azure.

Possess deep proficiency in Linux (RHEL/SUSE) and Windows Server environments, coupled with strong SQL/HANA database administration skills.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field is required. Relevant SAP and Microsoft Azure certifications are highly desirable.

Experience with SAP tooling such as SUM DMO, SWPM, DBACOCKPIT, and HANA Cockpit is essential. Familiarity with MS SQL Stack technologies like Always On and TDE is also necessary.
