Join NTT DATA and contribute to an innovative and adaptable organization. We are seeking a skilled SAP BASIS professional for our team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This role involves working in various shifts (6 AM - 2 PM, 2 PM - 10 PM, 10 PM - 6 AM) and requires excellent communication skills.

This position focuses on SAP BASIS technical support for traditional AMS services. The ideal candidate will have experience in support projects, upgrades, and OS/DB migrations. Strong communication abilities are essential for this client-facing role.

Key responsibilities include providing SAP BASIS technical support for traditional AMS services, handling support projects, and executing upgrades and OS/DB migrations. You will manage SAP Administration tasks, configure printers, and ensure the smooth operation of Solution Manager. The role involves supporting ECC, PI, BW, APO, GATP, and BODS systems, along with SAProuter and OSS configuration.

Additional duties encompass setting up SAP Logon groups, managing backups (offline/online, redo logs), performing database restoration and recovery, and handling SAP installations and re-installations. Planning and executing support package and kernel patch upgrades, client copies, transports, and database upgrades are also part of the role. You will also be involved in monitoring SDCC, configuring EWA, designing system landscapes, and defining operating procedures for backups and change management.

Must-have skills include SAP Administration, Support Packages, Printer Configuration, BEx Installation, and Solution Manager. Experience supporting ECC, PI, BW, APO, GATP, and BODS systems is essential. Proficiency in SAProuter setup and OSS configuration is required.

Good-to-have skills involve experience with Azure, cloud environments, Sybase, and MAXDB databases. Preferred qualifications include SAP Basis certifications. A graduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience is necessary, along with 8+ years of relevant experience. Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and influencing skills are crucial, as is the ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong organizational and time management abilities are also valued.
