Key responsibilities include identifying and assessing SAP processes for automation, designing, developing, testing, and deploying end-to-end SAP automation solutions. Automate critical SAP operational activities such as system monitoring, background job management, interface monitoring, user/license management, and report generation.

Develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript, and automate SAP GUI activities. Integrate automation solutions with SAP using various interface technologies like RFC/BAPI, OData, REST/SOAP APIs, and IDocs. Implement automated alerts, notifications, exception handling, and robust logging mechanisms.

Troubleshoot automation failures, perform root-cause analysis, and monitor performance for optimization. Collaborate closely with SAP Basis, ABAP, functional, security, BTP, and infrastructure teams. Prepare essential documentation including technical designs, SOPs, runbooks, and test cases. Support production deployments and post-production stabilization.

We are seeking candidates with 5–10 years of experience in SAP automation. A strong understanding of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments is essential, along with hands-on experience in SAP process automation. Proficiency in enterprise automation tools like SAP Build Process Automation or SAP Intelligent RPA is required.

Demonstrated expertise in scripting with Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript is mandatory. Experience with SAP GUI automation/scripting and SAP integration technologies such as RFC/BAPI, OData, REST APIs, SOAP, and IDocs is crucial. A good grasp of SAP background jobs, interfaces, monitoring, and operational support processes is also necessary.

Strong troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis skills are vital. Previous experience in SAP AMS/support and/or automation projects is highly valued. The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional SAP teams is expected.
