This SAP Application Delivery Lead / Application Architect role is central to driving large-scale SAP transformation programs. You will provide crucial technical leadership and architectural direction for initiatives such as S/4HANA migrations, complex enterprise integrations, and application modernizations. Success in this position requires extensive SAP technology expertise, adept stakeholder management, and the ability to translate business needs into robust, secure, and effective SAP solutions.

Lead global SAP application delivery across key transformation areas including S/4HANA migration, integration, modernization, deployment, and stabilization. Define the architectural roadmap for enterprise SAP solutions, encompassing S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, SuccessFactors, HCM, and associated non-SAP platforms. Provide robust delivery governance, critical technical decision-making, and strategic direction to globally distributed, matrixed teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders.

Key duties involve: - Developing and overseeing SAP technical delivery plans for global programs, ensuring execution quality, milestone adherence, and alignment with business objectives. - Guiding technical workstreams for custom development, integrations, environment management, deployments, production readiness, and post-launch stabilization. - Establishing release strategies, cutover approaches, governance frameworks, escalation protocols, and plans for mitigating delivery risks.

A minimum of 15 years of SAP technology experience is essential, with a proven track record in technical delivery leadership, architecture governance, and global transformation execution. Candidates should possess extensive experience with full-cycle SAP implementations, S/4HANA migrations, global rollouts, and complex application modernization programs. A deep understanding of SAP Integration Suite, APIs, IDocs, event-driven integration, SAP BTP, Clean Core principles, and side-by-side extensibility is required. Familiarity with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) and related enterprise compliance needs is also necessary. Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and leadership skills within matrixed global environments are critical.

Formal qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. At least 5 of the 15+ years in SAP technical roles must include leading application delivery, architecture, integration, or development teams. Demonstrated leadership of major SAP transformation programs, including S/4HANA migration, global rollouts, integration, cutover, and stabilization, is a must. Hands-on knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, APIs, IDocs, SAP BTP, Clean Core, side-by-side extensibility, and enterprise integration patterns is expected. Experience with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) and other enterprise compliance-focused SAP capabilities is also a key requirement. The ability to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders, business leaders, vendors, and global delivery teams is vital. Preferred certifications include ABAP on Cloud Backend Developer, SAP CPI Integration Developer, and SAP Signavio Process Management Consultant.
