NTT DATA seeks an innovative SAP ABAP Technical Architect/Lead to join our Bangalore team. You will be instrumental in driving modern SAP implementations and ensuring architectural excellence.

This role requires deep expertise in S/4HANA, BTP, and cloud infrastructure, focusing on clean core principles and minimizing technical debt. You will architect end-to-end solutions and lead technical strategy for critical SAP projects.

Architect end-to-end SAP solutions, ensuring strict adherence to "Clean Core" principles and eliminating technical debt. Enforce a zero-modification policy in the core, directing custom requirements to SAP BTP via side-by-side extensions. Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops, aligning business processes with SAP Best Practices and Industry Cloud Editions. Architect seamless integrations between S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and third-party SaaS using SAP Integration Suite. Serve as the Technical Authority on the Architecture Review Board, validating custom extensions for BTP compliance. Integrate Business AI and embedded analytics to enhance automated decision-making within the ERP core.

Minimum 12 years of experience in the SAP ecosystem, with at least 3 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations or conversions. Demonstrate architectural expertise in S/4HANA 2023+ (Greenfield/Brownfield) and RISE with SAP. Possess strategic oversight of S/4HANA upgrades, including SUM, SAP Readiness Check, and Maintenance Planner. Exhibit expert-level cross-functional knowledge across multiple SAP core modules. Hold SAP Certified Professional – Solution Architect (S/4HANA & SAP BTP) certification. Proficiency in technical skills like CDS, CBO, RAP, Event Mesh, BTP, OData-based Adobe Forms, APIs, and ATC. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (S/4HANA Public/Private, HANA DB, RISE with SAP on Hyperscalers) and methodologies (SAP Activate, SAP Signavio). Strong understanding of UX and Extension strategies including SAP Fiori, RAP, and CAP.
