As a Salesforce CPQ Architect, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing end-to-end solutions across Agentforce, Salesforce CPQ, and Revenue Cloud Advanced.

Your responsibilities will include: - Architecting agent-assisted and agentic workflows covering the entire revenue lifecycle. - Designing sophisticated agent orchestration patterns. - Integrating Agentforce with Salesforce automation tools, Apex, Flow, APIs, and MuleSoft. - Defining optimal use of LLMs, deterministic logic, and workflow engines. - Developing advanced context engineering and retrieval strategies. - Establishing secure agent action patterns with robust guardrails and human-in-the-loop mechanisms. - Defining AI evaluation frameworks and ensuring observability across AI systems. - Assessing model and platform trade-offs for optimal performance and cost. - Architecting resilient action layers for critical revenue processes. - Advising on cost optimization for AI consumption. - Leading architecture reviews and providing technical governance. - Mentoring technical teams and specialists.

To excel in this role, you will need comprehensive expertise in: - Salesforce Agentforce and its agentic architecture concepts. - Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud Advanced/Revenue Lifecycle Management. - Salesforce Sales Cloud and core platform architecture. - Advanced agent orchestration and multi-agent architectures. - Agent state, memory management, and context management. - Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), semantic search, and retrieval optimization. - Context engineering beyond basic prompt engineering. - AI evaluation frameworks and observability. - AI safety, grounding, and least-privilege action design. - LLM model selection and architectural trade-offs. - Classic NLP concepts. - Salesforce development tools including Apex, Lightning Platform, Flow, APIs, and integration patterns. - Asynchronous processing, transaction boundaries, resiliency, and idempotency. - Security architecture including data protection and permission models.

Preferred qualifications include 15+ years of technology experience with 10+ years in Salesforce CPQ/Revenue Cloud architecture, proven experience in enterprise CPQ/Quote-to-Cash implementations, and Salesforce Architect credentials. Experience with MuleSoft and relevant certifications are highly valued.
