Spearhead the theory, design, development, and practical implementation of product safety engineering methodologies and techniques for equipment and devices.
Execute a comprehensive process to identify and mitigate safety risks inherent in product design, conducting rigorous assessments and utilizing human factors principles to enhance operational safety and minimize user error.
Review, understand, and communicate applicable legal standards to the design community, maintaining up-to-date knowledge. Collaborate with third parties on product compliance and certification, and liaise with engineering and supply chain teams to ensure adherence.
Leverage in-depth technical knowledge and analytical skills to execute strategy and policy, acting as a resource for colleagues and potentially leading small, low-risk projects.
A strong foundation in Engineering, Technology, and Technical Regulations is essential, ideally comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Expertise in collaborating with diverse stakeholders, influencing decisions, and adopting a strategic perspective is required.
Proven ability to achieve project goals while prioritizing quality, performance, and schedule adherence. Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a knack for anticipating obstacles and devising effective solutions.
Prior experience working across various Imaging modalities is necessary for success in this role.
