Join NTT DATA as a Network Security Specialist Advisor, playing a key role in managing and supporting customer network security environments. This position involves hands-on work with critical security solutions and requires expertise in various firewall technologies.

We are looking for a candidate who can adeptly handle requests, changes, and incidents, ensuring optimal network security performance for our clients. The role offers a dynamic environment within a leading digital infrastructure provider committed to innovation and client success.

Implement and provide operational support for network security solutions, including Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco FTD. You will be responsible for expert-level configuration and troubleshooting of Palo Alto features such as URL filtering, vulnerability protection, AV, and anti-spyware. Strong proficiency in App-ID and the use of app filters is essential.

Troubleshoot complex issues using packet captures and debugs on Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls. You will act as a technical escalation point for L2 support engineers and develop custom queries for Palo Alto reporting. The role includes providing on-call support for high-severity incidents in a 24x7 environment, ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met, and performing system maintenance and documentation updates.

This role demands at least 12 years of network security administration experience, with a strong emphasis on Palo Alto firewalls. Excellent time management skills are crucial for managing operations and optimizing the firewall team's efficiency. You should possess solid troubleshooting abilities and a deep understanding of firewall architecture.

Experience with daily steady-state operations, request and change management, and weekly on-call rotation support is expected. Responsibilities also include conducting weekly/monthly health checks across network security platforms, assisting with upgrades and patches, and supporting multiple customer environments. You will also be involved in rule set reviews to enhance customer security footprints and manage security issues from detection to closure.
