Oversee Independence processes in line with EY Global policies, ensuring effective risk mitigation for audit teams. Leverage deep expertise in independence concepts, tools, and databases to guide team members and communicate with senior leaders. Key duties include managing stakeholder expectations, resolving service delivery issues, and driving continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities also encompass building domain expertise, understanding EY Global/US SEC independence policies, and interpreting regulatory changes. You will consult with Area Independence teams, manage client expectations through a robust framework, and ensure adherence to quality assurance protocols. Evaluating complex data and making informed decisions are vital aspects of this role.

A Master's degree (preferably in Finance) from a reputable institution is required. You should have 10-12 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in compliance or research functions within Big 4 or similar professional service organizations, and experience managing teams of 20-40 members.

Proven expertise in stakeholder management, delivery excellence, and financial discipline is essential. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills in English are also necessary. A good understanding of company structures, ownership, audit, and risk management concepts is important. Prior experience in Risk Management/Independence is preferred, along with knowledge of various industry trends and market dynamics.
