The Risk Intelligence Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in real-time monitoring and maintaining situational awareness within the Global Intelligence Operations (GIO) - Intelligence Operations Center (IOC). This position focuses on identifying emerging incidents and security developments that could potentially impact company personnel, assets, operations, or major activities.
This role operates under established procedures and escalation protocols, diligently tracking a spectrum of hazards. These include crime, civil unrest, terrorism, environmental threats, and public safety events. The objective is to deliver timely situational awareness, initial assessments, and critical reporting that informs operational decision-making, whether during routine operations or crisis situations.
Supporting senior intelligence professionals, the analyst ensures accurate and current information is consistently available. This is vital for effective incident management and maintaining organizational continuity, safeguarding the company's global interests.
Proactively conduct continuous, all-source monitoring of global security events using open-source intelligence (OSINT), traditional media, and social media platforms to detect incidents and emerging risks with potential company impact.
Triage incoming information and alerts, swiftly identifying relevant, actionable details that affect employees, facilities, operations, executive travel, or significant corporate activities.
Provide initial situational awareness and preliminary operational context for security incidents, encompassing natural disasters, civil unrest, terrorism, criminal activity, active assailant events, and other disruptive threats.
Draft and disseminate timely incident notifications, flash alerts, and critical situational updates in strict accordance with established ESOC, CSOC, and Corporate Security procedures.
Maintain heightened monitoring during elevated threat periods, ensuring consistent information escalation on events impacting employee safety, assets, or operational continuity.
Assist senior analysts with essential information collection, research, and data aggregation to support incident response, trend tracking, special projects, or deeper analytical products.
Accurately capture and meticulously maintain incident logs, alerts, and actions taken during shifts, adhering to established documentation standards for continuity and after-action review.
Collaborate effectively with ESOC personnel, Corporate Security partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistent situational awareness and seamless information sharing.
Support rotational shift coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to guarantee uninterrupted 24/7/365 global monitoring coverage.
Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, including those related to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a security operations center, intelligence, emergency management, international relations, or a closely related field is required. Relevant academic experience or internships may be taken into consideration.
Basic familiarity with OSINT sources, social media monitoring techniques, and situational awareness tools is expected.
Proficiency with standard office productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office applications, is essential.
Demonstrated ability to rapidly review extensive volumes of information and accurately identify relevant, time-sensitive, and actionable details.
Solid written communication skills are a must, with the capacity to summarize complex, fast-moving situations clearly and concisely.
Ability to remain calm, focused, and detail-oriented in high-tempo or high-stress operational environments.
Strong organizational skills, enabling the effective management of multiple tasks and competing priorities simultaneously.
Must be able to work effectively within a rotational, shift-based schedule supporting 24/7 operations.
Preferred qualifications include demonstrated situational awareness, attention to detail, operational discipline, adherence to defined procedures, analytical thinking within established guidelines, clear and concise written communication, professional adaptability in a fast-paced operational environment, proven problem-solving skills, sound judgment within defined authority, and strong organization, prioritization, and task management skills. Proven team collaboration and information sharing abilities are also advantageous.
