Our Risk Consulting services provide clients with critical insights into their risk landscape, enabling them to build trust and confidence with stakeholders. Within Cloud Risk and Security, you will lead engagements focused on assessing and validating cloud security controls across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. Your work will be instrumental in ensuring our clients' cloud environments are secure, resilient, and meet business objectives and regulatory standards.

As a fieldwork leader, you will guide clients in identifying, assessing, and managing cloud-related security and technology risks. You will spearhead cloud security and risk assessments, including comprehensive testing of control designs and operational effectiveness across major cloud platforms.

Your role involves collaborating with engagement teams to develop robust engagement plans, work programs, risk assessments, and testing methodologies. You will direct daily testing activities, meticulously track project progress, and effectively manage staff performance to ensure high-quality delivery. Furthermore, you will conduct in-depth reviews of cloud architectures and configurations, covering critical areas such as landing zones, identity models, network segmentation, encryption, logging, and disaster recovery strategies. You will also assess cloud governance and security controls, aligning them with shared responsibility models and industry best practices, while preparing polished deliverables and recommendations that meet stringent quality standards.

Success in this role requires a strong foundation in cloud risk and security, with hands-on experience in AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. A keen audit mindset is essential, enabling you to design, execute, and document control testing within cloud environments effectively. You should possess proven experience leading cloud security audits, risk assessments, architecture reviews, and maturity assessments.

Practical experience with controls related to identity and access management, network security, encryption, key management, logging, monitoring, SIEM, backup, disaster recovery, and data protection is crucial. Familiarity with containerized and cloud-native environments, including Kubernetes and serverless technologies, is highly valued. You must demonstrate an ability to lead multi-location teams, manage delivery risks, and consistently achieve high-quality outcomes within established timelines and budgets. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are a non-negotiable requirement, alongside the ability to manage your time effectively and work within US time zones as project demands dictate. Exposure to broader cyber risk or security activities will be considered an advantage.
