Our Global Delivery Services (GDS) team is seeking a Staff member for our Property & Casualty (P&C) Actuarial practice. You'll join a dynamic group dedicated to providing high-quality actuarial services to leading clients in the insurance sector. As a Staff member, you will contribute to developing and implementing innovative solutions within the insurance service line and collaborate across EY's global network. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality project outcomes, managing priorities, communicating status updates, and cultivating strong stakeholder relationships. You will be involved in estimating actuarial liabilities, analyzing historical claims data, performing reserve valuations, assessing technical provisions, and conducting large loss analysis. A strong focus on completing actuarial exams and developing subject matter expertise is essential.

Essential qualifications include a foundational understanding of insurance principles and the actuarial profession, strong analytical skills, and the ability to multitask. Proficiency in MS-Office Suite is required, with knowledge of programming languages like VBA, SAS, R, Python, SQL, or SPSS being a significant plus. Ideally, candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or finance, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Progress in actuarial exams is also a key consideration.
