As a Senior Consultant, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing innovative solutions within the insurance service line and collaborating across other EY service lines. Your core responsibilities include delivering high-quality project outcomes and effective solutions, providing focused training and support to junior team members, and ensuring all engagements are completed within deadlines and to the highest standards.

You will manage priorities, communicate project status, and meticulously track chargeable hours. A key aspect of this role involves actively identifying and pursuing opportunities for automation and AI enhancements to streamline processes. Within the actuarial practice, your duties will encompass actuarial liability estimation, detailed analysis of historical claims data, performing reserve valuations, and assessing technical provisions and capital requirements. You will also conduct large loss analysis, CAT benchmarking, and prepare comprehensive reports and memos for stakeholders.

To excel in this role, you should possess at least 3 years of experience in the General Insurance industry, gained within a consulting firm, an insurer, or a related service organization. Essential skills include strong analytical capabilities, the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, and a flexible work attitude.

While not mandatory, knowledge of reserving software like ARIUS or ResQ is desirable. Exposure to data analytics tools such as SQL and Alteryx is considered an added advantage. Familiarity with IFRS 17 or Solvency II frameworks is preferred. We are seeking individuals with good exam progress and a proactive attitude, eager for personal and professional development. Proficiency in MS-Office Suite is expected, with additional experience in VBA, SAS, R Programming, Python, SQL, or Alteryx being a significant plus. An AI proficiency and automation mindset are highly valued.
