Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using enterprise-level tools like Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica, Talend, or DataStage. Build and manage data ingestion, transformation, and integration workflows, ensuring efficient batch processing and incremental loads.

Leverage expert-level SQL proficiency to write complex queries, optimize performance, analyze execution plans, and implement effective indexing and partitioning strategies. Develop and maintain data warehousing solutions based on star and snowflake schemas, including handling slowly changing dimensions (SCD) and change data capture (CDC).

Investigate and resolve data issues by applying strong SQL and ETL troubleshooting techniques. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable data solutions. Utilize Python for scripting and automation, and engage in Agile development practices, leveraging version control systems like Git.

A minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in SQL development, ETL processes, database management, data modeling, and data validation is essential. Demonstrable expertise in advanced SQL concepts, including complex joins, window functions, CTEs, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning is required.

Proven experience with enterprise ETL platforms such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica, Talend, or DataStage is a must. Strong understanding of data warehousing principles, including star/snowflake schemas, fact/dimension tables, SCDs, and CDC, is expected. Experience working with relational and analytical databases like SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, or Teradata is necessary.

Familiarity with Python for automation and scripting is preferred. Experience with Git and Agile methodologies is beneficial. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are vital for success in this role. Prior experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain is a plus.
