This role focuses on the Design & Engineering Re-use team, dedicated to leveraging parts from excess and obsolete stock to cut costs and minimize waste. You'll be instrumental in driving a shift towards design for re-use, unlocking the potential for circular material usage.

As an Electrical Mechanical Engineer, you will be involved in designing electrical cabinets and their associated connectivity. This includes the 3D design of cabinets, routing of cabling harnesses between electronic boards, sensors, actuators, and other components, as well as engineering the cabinet enclosure itself. Your responsibilities will extend to creating essential product documentation and participating in product validation and testing, collaborating closely with project managers and lead engineers.

Lead investigations into the re-use potential of Excess & Obsolete (E&O) stock, identifying key opportunities and representing Design & Engineering within cross-sector teams.

Discover and analyze parts re-use opportunities from diverse influx channels, generating detailed re-use analysis reports.

Execute the technical aspects of re-use analysis independently, utilizing information from the ASML system and departmental expertise.

Undertake extended design activities related to re-use, supporting other departments in realizing re-use initiatives.

Collaborate with international ASML colleagues worldwide to implement re-use projects and share learned experiences and knowledge.

Possess 3-6 years of experience as an engineer specializing in electronic functions, with a proven track record of working within multidisciplinary module design teams to align on specifications.

Demonstrate the ability to initiate and drive re-use projects, identify process gaps, and actively contribute to improvements. Exhibit responsibility for outcomes within your area of expertise or process.

Apply mature skills and technical concepts innovatively and creatively to solve specific problems. Possess strong communication skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration.

Experience with SAP, Teamcenter, and NX is required, along with the ability to interpret manufacturing drawings, Bills of Materials (BOM), and Technical Process Documents.
