As a Release Train Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring successful delivery outcomes, overseeing the timely and quality progress of features and initiatives from inception to completion. This role involves proactively managing dependencies, risks, and impediments across multiple squads to maintain smooth project flow.

You will lead crucial stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment on objectives between business, technology, and risk teams. Furthermore, you will drive robust delivery governance, reporting, and compliance standards. A key aspect of this role is fostering clear accountability across all teams, rather than concentrating it at the leadership level.

Your responsibilities also include enhancing overall delivery efficiency and processes, elevating our Agile maturity. You will translate high-level ideas and objectives into actionable, executable delivery plans, ensuring clarity and direction for the teams involved.

We are looking for a candidate with strong delivery leadership capabilities and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. A proven ability to effectively manage cross-team dependencies and mitigate risks is essential.

Candidates should possess a strong understanding of technology, including platforms, architecture, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Experience with governance, reporting, and compliance frameworks is required, alongside the ability to instill and maintain accountability at the squad and team levels.

Proficiency in working with AI Tools, specifically Cursor, is a must. Techno-functional experience, with a preference for Java and the Trade Surveillance domain, would be a significant advantage. Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum, risk management, and Agile metrics and reporting, is also expected.
