Join EY as a Senior Manager in Regulatory Compliance and spearhead the design, development, and implementation of robust compliance solutions and frameworks for clients. This role involves building and scaling a Regulatory Compliance Centre of Excellence (COE) to drive transformation initiatives, including monitoring frameworks, regulatory inventories, internal audits, and technology-driven compliance strategies.

As a key member of our Consulting team, you will shape compliance strategies, enhance regulatory adherence, and foster innovation using advanced tools and methodologies. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding clients through complex regulatory landscapes and building a better working world for all.

Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive regulatory compliance monitoring frameworks, covering organizational structure, controls, policies, training, and communication tailored to client needs.

Monitor regulatory changes, align with senior leadership on critical tracking areas, and engage with client leadership to identify key risks and priorities. Develop detailed regulatory compliance libraries.

Drive regulatory change management for clients by analyzing impacts of new regulations, guiding teams in control development, and ensuring compliance across industries and regions.

Conduct regulatory risk assessments and internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of adherence and control frameworks.

Manage and mentor a multi-disciplinary COE team comprising compliance, audit, research, and analytics professionals.

Oversee client engagements, including compliance assessments, implementation programs, and remediation efforts, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to standards.

Develop thought leadership and market insights on regulatory compliance trends, automation, and best practices. Champion innovation through the adoption of AI and digital tools for compliance monitoring and reporting.

A Master's degree in Management, Economics, Finance, MBA, or a Law Degree (LLB) is required.

Possess over 10 years of experience in regulatory compliance, with a proven track record in designing and implementing compliance frameworks and programs.

Significant experience in internal audit, regulatory compliance reviews, and risk advisory engagements is essential.

Demonstrate hands-on expertise in internal controls, SOX/internal audit, compliance transformation, or regulatory consulting.

Experience across multiple industries and regulatory regimes, such as Healthcare, Lifesciences, Power and Utility, and Technology, is highly valued.

At least 4 years of experience in leading and managing teams of Compliance/risk professionals is mandatory.

Exhibit a demonstrated ability to teach, relay ideas effectively, engage clients, and collaborate within global teams.

Experience in building compliance repositories, regulatory inventories, or working with compliance management tools is necessary.

Proficiency in MS-Office Suite, data analysis, and validation is required. Experience with databases like OneSource, Thomson Reuters, or Lexis Nexis is beneficial.

Strong oral and written communication skills, with an emphasis on precision and logical information organization, are crucial.

Proven ability to meet deadlines, multitask effectively, and manage work under ambiguity and uncertainty is expected.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize deliverables for optimal results and strong team player skills with effective interpersonal abilities are essential.

Ideally, candidates will possess strong project management skills, experience in setting up COEs or shared services, problem-solving capabilities, and an innovative mindset.
