Join EY and embark on a career journey where your unique perspective shapes a better working world. As a Manager within our Consulting – Regulatory Compliance Center of Excellence (COE), you will play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge regulatory compliance engagements.
This position involves contributing to the establishment and operationalization of a robust Regulatory Compliance COE. You will be instrumental in developing essential compliance databases and providing critical support to client engagements, ensuring adherence to evolving regulatory landscapes.
Design and implement comprehensive regulatory compliance monitoring frameworks. This includes structuring compliance organizations, establishing control frameworks, developing policies and procedures, and creating effective employee training and communication programs, all tailored to client needs.
Continuously monitor regulatory changes across key industries, updating regulatory compliance libraries and databases. Lead client delivery for regulatory change management, analyzing impacts and guiding teams in developing compliant controls.
Conduct regulatory risk assessments and lead internal audits and compliance reviews. Supervise and mentor compliance COE team members, supporting client engagements with assessments, implementation, and remediation.
Develop thought leadership on compliance trends and drive innovation using AI and digital tools for enhanced monitoring and reporting.
A successful candidate will possess a strong ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable business controls, coupled with a deep understanding of risk, internal controls, and compliance frameworks. The capacity to design scalable compliance architectures and operating models is essential.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills are required, with a keen eye for precision and logical information organization. A Master's degree in Management, Economics, Finance, an MBA, or a Law Degree (LLB) is necessary, alongside 5+ years of experience in research, management consulting, or risk management.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in internal audit, compliance reviews, or regulatory analysis. Proven experience in leading and managing research teams is also a requirement, along with proficiency in MS-Office Suite and data analysis.
Ideally, you will bring strong project management skills, exposure to compliance transformation projects, and a knack for innovative problem-solving.
