Join EY's Global Delivery Services as a Staff in Fund Accounting, supporting a key client's accounting and reporting cycle. This role involves NAV production, financial statement preparation, and reconciliations. You'll collaborate with senior team members, liaise with stakeholders, and build strong technical expertise in fund operations.

Enhance the operational risk process by defining new procedures and controls. Deliver high-quality work within specified timeframes and budget. Execute detailed procedures based on expertise in fund controllership, investment books and records, and financial reporting. Perform critical accounting activities, including capital calls, valuations, and transaction processing. Identify, evaluate, and propose value-driven technology opportunities to enhance platform enablement and differentiate offerings in WAM/BCM. Facilitate essential communication between Business and Technology to define product features and implementation strategies. Collaborate with Technology and business partners to pinpoint process improvement areas and foster a culture of automation. Partner with business and architects to translate business requirements into scalable solutions and contribute to product roadmap strategy. Demonstrate foundational understanding of AI concepts and approved AI tools, using them responsibly in daily tasks while adhering to organizational policies.

Possess 1-3 years of experience in the Asset Management sector; exposure to US-based asset management or fund administration firms is advantageous. Familiarity with software tools such as document management systems, workflow systems, partnership accounting, and investment accounting software (e.g., eFront, Investran, Yardi, Eagle, Geneva). Experience in financial statement reporting and analysis. Proficiency in fund accounting, financial reporting, investment accounting, financial statement close processes, regulatory and statutory reporting, management and financial reporting, consolidation reporting, advanced data readiness and analytics, governance, controls, and regulation. A strong understanding of financial instruments, banking/WAM domains, and specifically Private Equity, Real Estate, and Private Credit Funds. General understanding of US GAAP and regulatory requirements is a plus. Experience with financial statements is considered a plus. Possess crisp and effective executive communication skills, with significant experience presenting cross-functionally and across all levels. Understanding of applications used in the FA or reporting process. Attention to detail, proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), excellent analytical skills, and effective interaction capabilities with diverse stakeholders are essential.
