Lead the comprehensive end-to-end fund accounting process for multiple private credit funds, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.

Oversee the accounting for complex private credit transactions, including loan originations, repayments, various interest types, fee amortization, restructuring events, and gain/loss recognition.

Review and approve journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, investment accounting, and supporting schedules, maintaining high standards of accuracy.

Ensure precise Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations and strict adherence to fund governing documents and accounting policies.

Manage and review investor allocations, capital account statements, capital calls, distributions, equalization, and carried interest calculations.

Guarantee the timely preparation and review of financial statements, investor reporting packages, and necessary regulatory filings.

Establish and maintain strong internal controls over all fund accounting procedures.

Drive initiatives for process optimization, automation, and standardization to boost operational efficiency and scalability.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), and reporting timelines to ensure consistent delivery.

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of fund accountants through effective coaching, training, and performance management.

Review team members' work to ensure exceptional quality, accuracy, and adherence to established procedures.

Utilize AI fluency by demonstrating broad knowledge of AI trends, supporting AI-driven process improvements, encouraging responsible AI adoption, and contributing to team efficiency.

A Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance is required. Professional qualifications like CA or CPA are highly preferred.

Possess a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in private credit fund accounting, private equity fund accounting, fund administration, or alternative investment operations.

Demonstrate a proven track record of successfully managing teams and leading direct reports.

Maintain a strong understanding of private credit products, including direct lending, senior secured loans, mezzanine debt, unitranche facilities, syndicated loans, and structured credit.

Exhibit in-depth knowledge of fund accounting principles, investment accounting, NAV calculations, investor allocations, and financial reporting standards.

Possess a solid understanding of US GAAP and/or IFRS as they apply to alternative investment funds.

Have experience working with prominent fund accounting platforms such as SS&C Geneva, Investran, Allvue, eFront, or equivalent systems.

Showcase advanced Microsoft Excel skills with exceptional analytical and reconciliation capabilities.
