This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, build and manage scalable back-end services, APIs, and database integrations. You'll play an instrumental part in the growth of a new service offering within EY’s Risk and Compliance Engineering practice, driving digital transformation initiatives for clients.

EY's Risk and Compliance Engineering (RCE) team advises clients on their most pressing digital challenges, from business strategy and customer engagement to innovation and technology strategy. We help translate strategy into actionable technical designs and transformation plans, ensuring clients maintain competitive advantage in a rapidly changing landscape.

Design, develop, and maintain robust full-stack applications with a focus on front-end technologies like React and TypeScript, alongside Java-based backend systems.

Integrate with RESTful APIs and GraphQL services for seamless data exchange.

Develop and manage backend services and APIs utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

Optimize and manage CI/CD pipelines, leveraging tools such as Azure DevOps.

Collaborate effectively with product managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers to deliver comprehensive end-to-end solutions.

Stay abreast of emerging web technologies, implementing best practices for performance and security.

A minimum of 4 years of experience in full-stack application development, with significant expertise in React and Java technologies.

Proficiency in React.js, TypeScript, modern front-end development practices, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).

Solid understanding of state management, component-driven architecture, reusable UI development, and front-end performance tuning.

Strong command of Core Java (Java 8+), object-oriented principles, multithreading, concurrency, and asynchronous programming patterns.

Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and microservices architecture.

Experience in designing and developing RESTful web services, API integration, and application security (OAuth2, JWT).

Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential.
