Responsibilities

Lead comprehensive Scrum planning, execution, and defect management for successful production releases. Define and implement robust quality standards, processes, and best practices, establishing critical quality gates. Drive risk assessment and mitigation strategies for key business initiatives, providing clear quality status reporting.

Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Business Operations teams to ensure testable requirements and align testing strategies with organizational goals. Develop detailed UAT strategies encompassing functional, end-to-end, regression, and integration testing, ensuring full traceability from requirements to results. Oversee defect triage and resolution processes effectively.

Champion test automation and AI-assisted testing practices to enhance efficiency and delivery speed, promoting shift-left principles. Evaluate and implement cutting-edge tools to boost testing effectiveness. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of UAT analysts and quality engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as defect leakage, UAT progress, test coverage, and automation adoption. Drive root cause analysis and implement process improvements to support operational excellence and modernization efforts.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality Engineering, QA, or UAT. You should also possess at least 3 years of people leadership experience and a proven track record of managing testing activities for large-scale enterprise applications.

A solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and release management processes is essential. Demonstrated experience with defect management and test management tools is expected. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are crucial for success in this role, as is the ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
